Quantitative research is the most common way of collecting and analyzing numerical data. We utilize it to find patterns and averages, make predictions, test the connections and generalize results to more extensive populations. We generally use quantitative exploration techniques for descriptive, correlational or experimental research.
In descriptive research, we essentially seek an overall summary of our study. In correlational research, we find connections between our study variables. In experimental research, we systematically examine whether there is a cause and effect connections between variables.
